Dear friends,

Since being mobilized I have been blessed with several opportunities to return to Charleston for visits with my family and to share worship with you. I cannot begin to express the joy I experience each time I come home and how humbled I am to know that you remember me in your prayers. While my mobilization is not nearly as difficult as some who find themselves half a world away from their families and friends, it has given birth to a new appreciation for the hardships faced by those who serve our great country. I ask that as you have remembered me in your prayers, please remember all who serve.
